Teaching philosophy
Every child can succeed in math with the right strategies, patient guidance, and consistent encouragement. I believe mathematics is not just about finding the correct answer. It is about developing logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and confidence. My goal is to help students discover effective strategies, learn from mistakes, and build a positive relationship with math.
Teaching Experience
Paul brings over 18 years of teaching and educational leadership experience. He spent 10 years teaching in schools and later co-founded and managed an after-school education center in Shenzhen, China for 8 years.
As an educator and program director, Paul designed learning programs, supported students with different learning needs, and help children develop strong foundations and confidence in mathematics.
His experience in classroom teaching and educational management has shaped his belief that every child can make progress with the right strategies, guidance, and encouragement.
What makes my Lessons Different?
Combining Singapore math, Beast academy, MOEMS, AM8, using manipulatives, bar models, problem-solving, and enrichment challenges to help students understand the "why" behind mathematics.
